On Wednesday February 5, 2025, the Futura Foundation for the Arts proudly supported another collaborative workshop with Zeiss, Sony and CineCraft showcasing Zeiss’ innovative Radiance lens technology during their week showcase in Toronto. Held at Masterkey Culture Media’s production house in Mississauga, the event offered an immersive experience for filmmakers, cinematographers, and industry professionals eager to explore the latest advancements in lens technology.

The workshop featured multiple speakers, including prominent Toronto-based cinematographer Rion Gonzales, who shared his practical knowledge of the lenses. Rion co-led the workshop alongside Zeiss representative Jean Marc Bouchut, who demonstrated the 28-80mm ZEISS Radiance Zoom on the Sony Venice 2. Sony representative Richard Bourbonniere provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the Radiance lenses’ capabilities on various Sony cameras. The event fostered dynamic discussions and practical demonstrations, enabling participants to engage deeply with the technology.
