Founded by a music producer with a deep passion for creativity, Futura Foundation was born out of a desire to make the arts accessible to everyone. Tara Mobayen, founder of the Futura Arts Foundation, is a visionary leader committed to empowering artists and fostering creativity. A multiple award-winning music producer, songwriter, and DJ, Tara brings a unique blend of artistic excellence and entrepreneurial spirit to the foundation. Her deep appreciation for the transformative power of the arts has driven her to create a platform where creators can connect, grow, and thrive.
With a career rooted in blending diverse cultural influences, Tara’s passion for the arts extends far beyond her chart-topping achievements in music. Drawing inspiration from Persian poets like Saadi and Rumi, Tara’s work exemplifies the ability of art to transcend boundaries and bring people together. Through the Futura Arts Foundation, she aims to make the arts accessible to all, championing inclusivity, innovation, and community building.
Fresh from launching her record label, Futura Sound, which bridges electronic energy with the melodic depths of house and techno, Tara is now focused on growing the foundation’s initiatives. Her mission is to build artists communities, supporting their journeys through mentorship, resources, and opportunities to showcase their talents.

Aman Pokhrel is a dynamic and visionary individual with a deep commitment to community development, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
With extensive experience across various industries, including real estate management, fashion branding, and event organizing, Aman
has cultivated a unique skill set that positions him as a versatile and innovative leader.
As the Deputy Director of the Futura Foundation, Aman plays a pivotal role in driving initiatives that empower communities and
promote sustainable development. His journey into community engagement began early in life, inspired by witnessing the power of
collective action and support in addressing societal challenges.
Aman’s entrepreneurial spirit has also led him to explore and excel in managing diverse ventures. His ability to adapt and innovate
across industries reflects his commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.

on communities worldwide
Afrouz Mobayen is an experienced learning facilitator with a deep commitment to inclusive learning, curriculum development, adult education and community engagement. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has worked with diverse communities in Canada and internationally, empowering individuals through transformative educational experiences. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development from the University of Toronto, focusing on Comparative, International, and Development Education.
As a facilitator, Afrouz designs, develops, and leads workshops for professional training and personal growth, constantly seeking new challenges. She is passionate about integrating Image and Forum Theatre methodology with adult learning principles, using it as an educational tool for skill building while fostering compassion, respect, and the values of equality, inclusion, and social justice. Afrouz also uses Forum Theatre to infuse wellness, joy, and play into community building, helping participants connect and engage with one another in meaningful ways.
Her journey into using Image/Forum theatre methodology as a tool for social change and community development began in 2015 during her Master’s studies at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Since then, she has facilitated participatory workshops using this methodology for students, educators, and professionals across various fields.
